People advertising they're running Parsers

No, Yoshi P says that he has to say it is against ToS, but that they can't check your computer to see if you are running it. There is a huge difference. He also says, if you are badmouthing someone for their DPS, you are being charged with harassment first and foremost with third party tools as a secondary charge. The spirit of the rule is to prevent harassment not to stop parsing.

If you really want to go full on with the letter of rule where third party apps/tools are not allowed, then discord is against ToS, as is using a web browser to look up information like guides, and programs like OBS that are used to record gameplay are also third party. You may say they aren't modifying any game data, but neither are parsers.

Fact is, a lot of people use parsers, even in casual content like dungeons, and as long as they don't outright admit it in game, you'll never know and they'll never be banned.
