Sounds like you never played a mmo with a queue system. Usually works like this, to prevent these types of situations there is always rules in any kind of finder tool for example these are the most commonly used ones.
1. There is no ninjaing everyone gets a fair roll on loot. No player can set loot master / quarter master, a free roll system is used. Most games have restrictions on what people can roll based on their class and if they can use it.
2. You can kick people from the dungeon but it requires a majority vote to kick the person. Voting to kick people can not happen during combat or when there is loot in the treasure pool to be rolled on. Preventing people being kicked by someone because they want a rare item.
3. If someone has to leave or goes afk or is kicked by majority vote because they are causing a problem. The server will replace them with someone else in the queue and you will be on your way. People have to leave all the time for whatever reason but there is always people to replace them so its not that big of a deal.
No, i obviously haven't so why don't you name these games that use this great system you speak of, i'd very much like to try them out.
I used to be an idealist like you. Then I took an arrow in the knee. (' ~' )I don't expect it to change, but I wouldn't like to see SE support harassment of any kind.
Harassing someone for being a jerk doesn't make it right.
If fan sites allow it.. well that's up to them. Sad if they do. It would be nice to see them steer away from such vicious behaviour.
If by content finder you mean dungeon finder (also cross server nonsense) then I wholeheartedly object:
I am not down with cities in the game turning into online lobbies while you wait for a raid to form for you.
MMOs are large worlds that are meant to be explored and traversed so one can see/find all the beauty within it.
Sitting in town all day while you wait in a dungeon finder to be automatically teamed of with random people from across various servers only to be magically warped into the instance/raid/whatever thus skipping over the entire MMO world is such a stupid concept.
Why in the hell develop an entire world if you are just going to shove a dungeon finder into the game. Might as well give everyone max level(or let them level up in the raids) and delete anything in between large cities other than the dungeons since you are just going to magically appear there anyway.
Ew.

Just because they are gonna implement this doesn't mean people will stop using party search anymore, it doesnt mean people will stop doing shout at your server.
But it is very useful for one of your LS member that happened to be leftover because of 8 person content, they are the one that needs this the most while you and your main LS team tackling the dungeon on the first day patch implemented, but there will always be leftover members that doesn't get picked.
Who gives a flying fck about concept of MMO world when one of your supposedly LS mates, a friend of yours aren't able to go into raid maybe because he was late in patching process and unable to form another parties due to not enough members.
This supposedly old school MMO idea or concept is really starting to annoys me, if community is really important then think again about what i said, because above scenario happens to every single LS.
why would you do that? dont you like being spoon fed? dont you like SE's always at the ready to wipe your bottom with silver threaded toilet paper? If by content finder you mean dungeon finder (also cross server nonsense) then I wholeheartedly object:

i don't know about you but i love all those things. if i had to actually think during a fight "or" think at all, at any given time i might kill of whatever braincells that remain in my......aw who the hell am i kiddin am already as bright as a sack of bricks whats a few more dead going to hurt my inflated oversized Multilingual intolerant spoon fed a$$ ego.
Be honest, if you had the option to click a button and be whisked away into content would you spend time looking for a LS, shouting or using party search?
I mean really be honest.
