If there's one thing WoW did right, it was allowing addons. I deeply dislike the stigma against even really innocuous stuff (like parsers) in the community.

You have to realize that there's likely a large percentage of the population who is parsing, and an even larger percentage among those who don't say anything. I will literally never care if someone parses, unless they decide to use it to be toxic, and at that point I have a problem with the person, not the parser. That's not even talking about people who just use parsers with their static, or to monitor their own damage, etc.

In other words, who cares
