Do you have a source for this? Genuine question because that'd actually be kind of absurd lmao. Discord, as far as I'm aware, doesn't even interact with the game at all beyond being able to detect that you're playing it.

Messing with game files is different from "changing how you play the game" though, pretty fundamentally. Unless the point is that they'd have to be ridiculously and invasively strict to be able to do anything about parsers, which I could almost believe, but yeah.

Parsers only read the combat log, something you could theoretically do yourself. No game files are being touched. Voice chat impacts the game far more than parsing however. It is so much easier to call the starfall mechanic on one of the latest ex trials over voice chat than it would be through ingame chat.
