When I began my career with MMO's I was unemployed, part time college student. I played 24/7.

Surprisinly, I am now a Network Admin. for one of the largest hotel/lodging corporations in the world. Can't even find time to play :/

Albeit, IT sector jobs allow us to forums/play at work, given your workload is minimal.

Thats what i'm trying to get, but in this economy these jobs are hard to come by if your straight out of University, how can you get experiance if no one will employ people with no experiance

If you can get any IT Experience, albeit even if it is home networking.

A+ certitications. And ANY Cisco experience (Working towards a CCNA is +++++ when I look at hiring someone)

Every company (almost) needs an IT person on staff just as an insurance policy. Honestly, its mostly fixing printers, doing preventive maintenence on all employee consoles, basic PC/MAC troubleshooting, etc. Alot of Port Switching/Patching, etc.

I am currently trying to get something in 1st line support just to get the exp for now, and if friends or family have problems I fix thier PCs, my degree included CCNA and server 2008 work, but I havent been able to get that because when your a student/unemployed £100 is alot of money, I know it will help alot but I just can't afford it. I could probably get CCNA and MCP but I need the money first, hate these cycles.

I think that it will become eaiser when the economy recovers, but I can't wait that long lol.
