When I began my career with MMO's I was unemployed, part time college student. I played 24/7.

Surprisinly, I am now a Network Admin. for one of the largest hotel/lodging corporations in the world. Can't even find time to play :/

Albeit, IT sector jobs allow us to forums/play at work, given your workload is minimal.

lol nice. I've got a couple Soft Eng.'s and a couple Databasers who work for me that I've had to disable their GPU's and send me warnings via XenDesk when they activate any unauthorized programs lol. Glad to see you are in the honest group of Software Engineers

i was excited to see all the replies. o_o To be more specific on my own account, i ride my moterbike around, take pictures of things, make 'art' movies, write music and sing in a band (so i used the word retirement 'somewhat' jokingly, although 'somewhat' not i guess). ..and then there's FFXIV, anime, food, friends etc.

Full time factory worker but I dont watch TV so I play quite a bit during the week - usually drink moonshine and play bluegrass on the weekends

usually work for 60-70 hours a week, but a majority of that time i can actually spend playing games should i choose to.

just the traveling part that kills me. sent far away for long periods of time with no chance of playing at all.

Fraud detection at a bank. 40 hours/week plus OT, and part time student studying court reporting. I don't play much though because I don't want to, not because I can't.
