Still doesn't make enough money... /sigh something is wrong with this world... or at least my world...

Currently do data entry for an electric company for a year now. Before that, with the same company, I was out reading electric meters at buildings and homes for about 6 years. It was nice driving all over the place and walking all over neighborhoods. Meet some nice people. Although I had one odd moment walking into a backyard to read a meter, I announced myself, then met the owner who was nude sun bathing. It was weirder when he tried having a conversation with me. Golden tan and all. o_O

Took the office job because the company was getting ready to use automated meters, so there'd be no use for meter readers soon.

Down visiting a friend in good ol' KCMO, having just come back from Afghanistan in February. Friend goes to faith-based event on Sunday evening, I naturally go with him. Jon Shirley is a wonderful speaker. Afterwards, hanging out with some of the guys and my friend gets asked by a certain guy (you) what he's using for his cable provider. Friend tells him he doesn't really have anything and that guy hooks him up with a family and friends' discount, says he works there.

I ask him, what he does, says he gotz some mad video editing skillz at said telecommunications company and occasionally helps out with videos for the Sunday folks. I'm like, "Oh that's pretty nice!" I honestly don't know how the topic of games comes up, but the video editor mentions he played Final Fantasy online. He corrected my grammar a few times, but I thought nothing of it... at first. I asked him his server and character name, he mentioned something like Spec Trox (I didn't know the spelling yet).

At the airport while waiting for my flight, I did a lodestone search for Spec Trox, but I didn't know how to spell it then so nothing came up. Thought nothing of it. Next week, I'm posting on the server for role-playing topic and notice someone picking on the grammar. I see the name. And then it hits me, oh my gawd, it's that video producer guy from the cable company. Awkward sauce. But he helps out with faith-based events, so maybe he's secretly a good guy? But alas, could not be persuaded, I had to block him.

Then I noticed people who were blocked and quoted were still trying to respond to me. I learned that blocked people can still see my posts and now I can't see there's (easily).

I tried to call you by name in the Non RP'ers thread to make you stop. Then Bahamut censored my post for violating TOS.

Anyhew... DUDE! Next time I'm in KCMO, let's grab a bite to eat at the Big City Hot Dogs and talk about how awkward this is. And maybe you can explain how Charlie Chat works.

I work full time for a up and coming loose leaf tea company here in the uk (potential puns). I pretty much do what ever is needed really, data input, setting up systems, contacting suppliers, managing stock, packing tea, supporting other staff members, looking after the website, web customers and orders, you get the gist. I really like it though as no two days are the same and I've got a great boss (rightly dubbed Mega Boss). Would love to do something with computers though so I'm currently looking into part time college courses.

I've just started using the forums as well because of this thread. Having lurked for a while it was really nice to see such a friendly welcoming thread on the forum so hello all!
