Or maybe those games just attract those kinds of people, just like XBL does for example.
There is consequence anyway for example if you were to ninja loot or act like a jerk in game wouldn't that reputation follow you here also ?
Unlike Wow we only have one main character so its in everyone's best interest to preserve their reputation.
Different rules, different game.
What Ironic is we are in the process of merging servers, and yet we have people saying oh we don't want to play with other servers, too late.

LOL, you don't need to preserve a reputation on different servers!~Or maybe those games just attract those kinds of people, just like XBL does for example.

Why not are these forums not a community ?
Elexia if the person in question is a Lalafell I'm not guna accuse a Miqo'te, besides maybe we can ask them to show our server name in brackets next to our name when we cross server.
Doesn't WoW do this anyway ?

Some do, some don't, that's the thing. The generalize style of this system essentially makes a clone of your character while excluding your guild/server ties, this is why it depends on how it's made, because for example:

Unless you take a detailed profile, there's a good possibility even knowing "it's a lalafell" won't really do much for you. That's why it heavily depends on the system in place, since there's really no consequence unless someone is adamant enough to make a player warning thread on your server forum (if it shows your server name), but if they go the route of "anonymity" and just go the clone route, as exampled it can be tough which is exactly why people would act that way.
