Exactly this.. even if you re-enter just AS HUMAN IMMEDIATLY POSSIBLE this does not work, at least not always, apparently

Being kicked during a DC means that the interuption in your connections has ALREADY exceeded the grace period. There already is one - some refer to it as the Pokeball. If your connection recovers 'immediately' as many of you have put it, then you'll remain logged in. You might see that characters have changed positions or that your skill/spell didnt go off, but you are otherwise still in the game. If you're frequently getting completely kicked out of the game then you realy need to be looking at YOUR internet connection. Check your firewall isnt causing packetloss, see if you can connect via a wired ethernet cable, check with your ISP if there is maintenance in your area.... etc etc.
.

The frequency of DCs isn't so much the problem, at least not for me. I've had three (that I'm counting, I've also had three other hard crashes when I hit exit game lol), two of which were 90k's and one of which was my screen just straight up going black when I tried to exit a dungeon into a cutscene - when I managed to get back to the game window a minute or so later, it had "encountered an unexpected error" and crashed. No idea what that was about.Being kicked during a DC means that the interuption in your connections has ALREADY exceeded the grace period. There already is one - some refer to it as the Pokeball. Anyway, yeah, that isn't the problem. The problem is the 5300+ person queue I got dumped into less than a minute after disconnecting. I dc'd at 856 pm; it took me 2 hours to get back into the game. If there is indeed a grace period, then right now it's far too short.
^^ Yeah one of my dc's was like this too. Got kicked to title screen, immediately clicked back in, hit the 'character not properly logged off', and then BAM. Back in a several thousand person long queue lmaoWhat is really happening is that the game kicks you out at the login menu, you enter right away and the game LITERALLY tells you that you can't enter because YOU ARE ALREADY logged (?!? prob because your character did dont disconnect correctly); after a few seconds it logs your character off and THEN it puts you at the END of the queue. >_>
If only when this happen:
-you try to login but you are ALREADY LOGGED and NOT PROPERLY LOGGED OF
the game could recognize what happened and put you on number ONE in the queue it would be at least SOMETHING.

Many games over the years had a grace period to log back in if you get disconnected. They should be doing this too because of how temperamental the game is. Spend 40 minutes in Praetorium, disconnect on the last boss, takes hours to get back in because of it and you get no credit. Makes me picture DEV's in the back ground laughing and say "to bad for you". the disconnects don't just ruin your fun time, they also ruin statics and pre made raids.
I feel like people are exaggerating on the d/c's once they are in-game. It's so easy to blame something else than maybe your own internet/ISP. Your router may have a hiccup. Your ISP may have an outage, etc, that can you to disconnect but nope, always SE. And then some people can just have a very crappy connection. When you log-in and get to the character screen - If you look at the top right and it doesn't say "Excellent" for your connection, you most likely are gonna d/c.
I do not have the best internet at this time, just how hard do you think I should get punished for it then?I feel like people are exaggerating on the d/c's once they are in-game. It is quite alright to be AFK for up to 30 minutes, as many times as you'd like. Your spot is safe. Just give me five minutes to get back in if I get disconnected, that is all I ask for.
