    Imo the addersgall replenishing early makes me use Kerachole earlier than the rest of my toolkit. If I need more mitigation, I'd use Holos or rotate after Kerachole expires with Taurochole. I actually like that aspect about Sages the most.

    Normally for Scholars, they'd use Recitation + Excog, or just throw up an Excog if they're saving Excog for Indom since Aetherflow runs on a different resource generation timer.
    For Sage, I'm currently using Kerachole first, to both slow damage and to keep addersgall regenerating within the next 20 seconds. Then if I need to use 2-3 addersgall for quick burst healing succession, I can immediately pop Rizomata afterwards. The order of Sage's toolkit works slightly different and I like that because it keeps a very steady and rhythmic healing pace going.

    Even than it's not a dps gain single target because you get Toxikon at 66, same potency as Dosis until 72, lower potency until 82 when it becomes dps neutral again - if accumulated during downtime.

    Rotating EDia and Toxikon in big pulls is a huge dps loss over just spamming Dyskrasia and firing Phlegmas. If a tank cannot be kept alive through big pulls despite using all oGCDs available, it's a slight dps return but never the way to go.
    It's a last resort for papertanks or people with multiple vuln stacks about to eat an aoe, not a great strategy and inferior in terms of efficiency.
    Eukrasian Diagnosis pre-pull while running to prep you a free Toxikon and start the tank off mitigated.

    Soteria once the shield has popped for upkeep.

    Tauro/Kera(whichever is the AoE) serves as mainenance mitigation, the other (single target) once the first runs out and the tank has lost some HP.

    Haima if the damage is still coming in heavy.
    Then your single target addersgall heal as necessary.

    If it goes south, Physis > Zoe > Diagnosis spam (or Pneuma if available)

    This gets me through pretty much every big pull.

    Coming off of having mained DNC in Shadowbringers lemme just say..... I wish Icarus was on a much shorter cooldown, had multiple charges, and didn't require a target.
    Yes, I've been spoiled by En Avant. What can I say, it feels pretty damn good to zip zap around...

    ...Alright, keep the targeting, but at least give the damn thing more charges and/or reduce its cooldown. Its inclusion, plus the fact that you have to be in melee range for phlegma, gives sage a more... Idk, kinetic feel, something that isn't too common on healers (though scholar does run pretty fast now, I guess).

    Aside from that, yeah, I have to say addersting as a mechanic feels rather bland. The fact that it relies on E. Diagnosis and E. Diagnosis only also takes away from it.

    I just did the quest where you play as Alphy, and despite his Toxicon being labeled as a spell, it plays as an ogcd, and it flows so much better...

    Kardia is a noticeable thing in dungeons to some extent, yes.
    Kardia is not noticable in trials right now, we will have to see how the raids turn out.
    As it stands, I just feel like sages could have a better job identity than "Scholar with a different weapon and no crit buff". It just really feels to me that square struggles to make Jobs sufficiently different in terms of play style.

    I didnt say anything about turning kardia into a HoT.
    My idea was to take the hot off of Enhanced Kerachole and instead make it apply kardia to all party members for 15 seconds. this would effectively be a HoT, but requires player interaction. I do realize how overpowered this would be, they would have to make this do less healing than the normal kardia effects. i just think it would be more engaging.

    this isnt how healing in FF works.. at all.
    Everything youre saying here leads to a huge dps loss.
    Toxicon is not a potency increase
    Dosis does not have a cast time longer than the GCD
    Eukrasian Diagnosis costs more mana than dosis.

    unless your fighting multiple enemies, toxicon is never a gain unless youre shielding when you otherwise couldnt have been doing damage for that GCD.

    I am more bothered that they lock Dosis on [4] hotkey instead of [1]. My muscle memory instinctively spams [1] "Diagnosis" and there I wonder why am I not dealing any damage.

    I am really enjoying Sage, but I wish it had more ways of augmenting its abilities and maintain DPS.

    1.) Give is an ability that makes our Kardia into an AOE temporarily 15-20s.
    2.) Give us an ability that puts us in a Eukrasian trance for 10-15s allowing us to spam Eukrasian versions of spells for the duration of the effect.
    3.) Separate Sage DOT into its own unique button and make the Eukrasian version an AOE dot but with lower potency, lower potency by 50~100.
    4.) Eukrasian Dosis is now an instant cast attack since the DoT is removed.
    5.) Toxicon add an addition effect: Applies stacks of damage up to only the Sage of 5% for each stack of Toxicon used. Duration 6s per Toxicon for a maximum of 15% damage up and 18s duration max.

    Hi, question regarding Kardia.
    If i deal damage to multiple targets (pneuma, phlegma or dyskrasia), is my healing via Kardia proportional to the number of targets i hit (170 × X) ? Or does it stick to 170 potency whatever the number of targets ? Thanks

    It's always 170 potency for using a dps skill. It doesn't scale in aoe situations.
