translation- wait until enough people get bored with the expansion so that you can finally get your turn. Until then, I cannot even log in unless I log in at 3:00am which means I can't get any sleep for work.
I paid for said game, and game time. If I am not able to play while paying that may be a violation of U.S laws. Unless they will continue to give free service time including all companion, and retainers until they are able to fix their problems.
Who refunds a expansion of a mmorpg over a temporary issue?
That's just... weird. D:
What would that person do? rebuy the expansion when the issue is resolved, like it does eventually after every expansion?
Journey to all fish: 1383/1729 (348 remaining) [79%]
2002'd at 1600 Queue...had to try 3x to get in again went to 3900+ queue.......
If they wants to they should have the right I allready said I would not personaly but I should be avaliable for those who wants to do it. Maybe they know they will not have the time later baby on the way or whatever the reason...
If they offer a time freeze or refund, doesn’t that solve the problem SE is having? :thonk:
US law, probably not, specially not with having signed away those rights in the contract.
Australian law, maybe.
Players who can't afford a $50 expansion shouldn't be spending the money if they come immediately crawling for refunds following such small inconveniences. Once you're past the log in queues, the game runs perfectly fine and smoothly. You can even just launch the game at non-prime hours and get no queue at all. Free compensation is great, all for it, but if you're starving because you lost $50 on endwalker then please go outside and look for employment. On that note, yes, they should give you a refund, YOU specifically, because I think you need it.
Oh, I feel that. I'm just expecting SE to give more compensation for that subscription issue if the duration continues as it affects a ridiculous number of subscribed players. I'm just saying that you're not going to lose the first time experience though, because a lot of people are in the same boat at the moment. As I see it, the problem is not buying a game and not being able to play it when you want to. You buy a game, you don't have to rush it right after the purchase, you can play it later (there's a thing called backlog). The problem is paying a subscription and not being able to play. I finished MSQ, but I feel for the people who really want to play but can't and they're paying for it.
