    Lucid Dreaming felt more complete when it also cut your Enmity in half. It kept you from taking aggro and kept your MP full. Now it really just feels like busy work. It needs a secondary effect to make pressing it when your MP is full meaningful still like increasing your Determination for it's duration which would be a mild buff to both healing and damage.

    Uh, hate to burst your nostalgia bubble, but even Ragnarok Online had healers doing damage. You could instantly kill any Undead monster, heals did damage to Undead, you had Magnus Exorcist and Judex and Adoramus for non-Undead monsters. Ragnarok came out before Lineage 2, so sorry, but that game just had bad healer design even then.

    It's been almost 20 years since Lineage 2. If you want the same mechanics and philosophy, go play another game. In case you're unaware, this game had this healer philosophy and design for its entire lifespan.

    Agreed. It needed a rework and this was the perfect opportunity for it. They could have just made it "Increase your fairy's healing by 50% for 15 seconds" and I would of been happy.

    Or straight up just gave you 3 Aetherflow stacks.

    Or increased healing by 50% and damage by 20%. (because we don't have a big damage button)

    This post is great cause Seraph and Consolation really are one button now. Healer feedback works! Slowly and haphazardly apparently but it works. We asked for reduced cast times on dps spells for all healers back in Stormblood and look at us now. In four years we might get more than two dps buttons...

    I know it wasn't a focus due to how you had to go out of your way to build for it, but i recall ragnarok priests could build around hitting hard with a mace and they even got a spell called "Duple Light" that threw a bone towards the priests who built that way that added extra hits to their attack swings/

    Exactly, the reason Healers do not DPS often in WoW is the amount of unavoidable damage the players take (And the fact that death is not fixable, unless you have combat rezzes, a player will stay dead for a while.) - WoW healing is a battle of attrition, triage and smart resource use.

    And even then, WoW healers get more DPS abilities than FFXIV healers.
