Access the Mogstation and under Service Account status check your subscription type and if it's active or not.

If it's active then you've already paid for those 7 "Free" Days of Playtime since you have not been able to play.

They are "adding" 7 days, You didnt Pay for those 7 days.
Thus, they are Free.

Even if you were to go pay for 7 days right now, they are still adding 7 days to your account.
Do the math, you now have 14 days, but you only paid for half of those days, the other half was given to you for free.
So its still a Free 7 days

Except no one is paying for early access. They are paying for the game. Paying early allows for potential to play early, but is not a guarantee. He isn't paying extra for the early weekend, there was not a $5 fee added to the monthly fee if you accessed Endwalker content this weekend.

I did not pay for early access. I paid my monthly sub. I have not been able to play the game I bought access to with my monthly sub. 2002 error are preventing people from accessing the game as a whole, not just EW.

If I pay for 7 days of playtime to get 7 days worth of playtime and got 0 hours of playtime due to a failure on SE's part and then they add 7 days of playtime at a later date, it's NOT FREE. It's what I paid for and they didn't provide at the time I paid for it.

Rather than 30 days that you normally are subscribe for this month you get 37 days this month, before it's time to renew your subscription. Or maybe you paid for a 90 day. That would be 90+7 before you'd have to renew. It doesn't take rocket science. So take those apples and chew on it.

I couldn't care less about if it's free or not. I paid for the collector's pre-order. How am I exactly getting any benefits if I am unable to log in to claim said bonuses? The issue is SE has always had this issue with expansion releases. Even back on 11. They know this always happens, yet have never learned from them to take steps ahead of time to make sure there will not be a problem such as you know. Buying new servers before hand to make sure all can enjoy what they have paid for. I don't mind waiting to get in but when I cannot even log into the data center to get into the queue at all? Unacceptable.

Partially right, and maybe for 'some' people entirely correct. There is another way of doing this math.
Pay for 7 days, unable to log in for seven days. 7 days granted as "compensation" for the down time.

Pay for 7, get 7, take 14 days to actually get them. That's if a week sorts all this out.

Your still proving my Point that is is indeed Free Time.
Even if you pay for those 7 days, and say you Cant/Don't use those 7 days, your are still being given 7 days.
Regardless if its Compensation or a Reimbursement...its still a free 7 days.
Nobody is paying any amount of money for those 7 days.
