Endwalker is a masterpiece

I'm only like 2/3s through the story. But I've really enjoyed every minute of it so far. I'm someone who appreciates world building and character work, so the slow start didn't bother me at all. Instead, I got to learn more about the world and my friends.

Someone may have spoiled something in a youtube comment section for me and if they did, I'm going to be ticked, but I'm hoping it was just a troll. I've decided to completely avoid youtube until I'm done now. Sorry, Lulu.

I am glad to see some people actually get into the game while the rest of the thousands just keep getting error messages. i have tried every hour today and nothing. i love paying for a game and a subscription that i can't play. Maybe you all that are lucky enough to join the game log off after a few hours and let others join instead of playing all freaking day. SE should remove anyone that is AFK after 30 minutes due to the heavy congestion.

I'm getting a ton of 2002... i just keep logging back in and I always get put back into my place. I have had one 4004 error, which sucked, but otherwise, its just having to relog a few times per queue. I'm waiting in queue right now like everyone else. Just playing games on my second monitor while I wait.

So queues aside which are a major issue it is a pure masterpiece. I had little confidence they could followup Shadowbringers because I have never seen an MMO developer one up themselves after putting up a great release or expansion.

It is inconceivable this was done in 2 years since they launched Shadowbringers. The size is just ridiculous and makes Shadowbringers look small in comparison.

They keep just one upping themselves in the MSQ. Everytime something epic happens it is followed by something even more EPIC.

I've played roughly 8 hours of the story, and I'm very bored with it. Compared to Shadowbringer it's garbage. First 2 hours spent touring a city lol . Now I can't even log in to play after work. Can't convince me it's a masterpiece.

Feel completely the opposite, It's like people don't understand what build up and pacing is.

I've finished the MSQ and it's ok. I didn't enjoy the story as much as 5.0 but it did have a few moments but also some huge letdowns. Had major KH feels playing through this.

My wife and I and very happy with the journey , sure we skipped some slow drinking tea cut scenes but the overall story was beautiful. To the Devs the artists the sounds guys Thank You for the wonderful experience. It’s tarnished by the disconnects and log in ques my wife got disconnected right b4 the final boss with a 6000 person que after just being in a 2hr que totally jerked us out of the immersion. I logged off after because I don’t wanna finish without her it would just be hollow without her after the whole journey maybe tomorrow.

Well I am basically been waking up at 6am and playing until 10pm for the passed 3 days and I am level 89. You have scratched the surface. The zone design alone in Endwalker DUMPS on Shadowbringers. Dungeon design is far more complex with boss mechanics and scenery is just ridiculous.

The story in Shadowbringers carried it that is why people over looked the very boring zone design.

I do not understand how they even did this. I keep trying to figure out where they cut corners and I cannot find it.

what did you do with the real Puremallace?

See a few below this one. I find the 2002 errors and character verification server issues completely unacceptable. The game is incredibly stable once in but that is the trick.

The game is a masterpiece, but service from which this masterpiece was served is a picture drawn from a 6 year old child.
- Average one and half hour to able to login.
- Multiples 2002 errors while trying to make login and start queue all over again.
- Multiples 9001 errors during the game.

I hope Square Enix executives get an 2002 error when they try to login in the bank accounts, because it seems its all that matters for them.
