Words cannot express the disappointment and frustration Square has inflicted on it's players. It's extremely disheartening and it should be viewed as a slap in the face to all of the artists, designers, and developers who made an absolutely amazing game. Sadly the network managers and directors are deaf, blind, and stupid. They had years to plan. They had time to purchase. Yes there was a huge increase in the player population, but previous expansions should have proven there's likely to be a 20-30% increased interest in the games. Hell, you could have approached Blizzard and negotiated with them to buy their empty servers... 7 free days as compensation is worthless if the game is inaccessible. Now... factor in cost of lost revenue, compensation... suddenly the cost of additional hardware doesn't seem so bad. Time to replace the weak links in your organization.
