Square Enix has pushed the release of Endwalker for quite some time now. Every time I logged into the game there was an advertisement for it. The advertisements were literally everywhere you look. Many notable streamers moved over to FFXIV from WoW and with them a large influx of new players. They were well aware of the server issues that took place as a result. When new content releases for any game there is an influx of players. All the signs showed that there was going to be a massive influx of players. So why did they they not address the server size for the release. A very large number of people who have been fans of the Final Fantasy genre paid a lot of money for early access to Endwalker but what we find is not only do we barely get a chance to play during the early access period, but we are also unable to play the game at all because of Queues and queue issues that leave you sitting waiting to get on a game taking 6 to 12 hours of our day. We pay monthly subscriptions that are now useless. We pay retainer fees that are useless. We pay for the Companion app that is useless. We are paying plenty for what...the ability to sit in front of a screen and keep queueing up for 2002 and 4004 errors? You were upset when you had to push the release date back. You should far beyond that now that all those other people who used their vacation time for the new release date are now unable to play for the vacation time that they took. There is no reason at all that this could not have been dealt with on the server level.
