This IS a mess. This IS a fkup. And if you just cover your eyes on it - it`s going to nowhere. WOW community doing same things - and they ended really bad at then end. Ignoring problem - does not solve it.

As example - I have had played this game from closed beta. And what do you think ? I know what exactly I`m talking about - this expansion start is really worst. Ok, COVID, semiconductor sht - blah-blah-blah. BUT. 2 weeks ago we have been promised that thing, that happened and ruined plans of many people, who taked vacation - it`s just for making great product without any issues. For greater good - so to speak. And what we can see now?
Just some sht about lobby.

The measures Square Enix is employing to deal with the launch are not enough and this feels bad.

and what pray tell would you suggest they do ? they mentioned that this could/would happen. was to be expected. heres a thought instead of just complaining about it, why not give some constructive criticism with possible solutions. can you think of any that they havent already tried ? maybe list those instead of just posting problems of "wah, im gunna take my ball and go home"

i was queued for 2 hours. got down to 37 and got an error 4004 just when i thought i was finally going to enter. I have not been able to access the game since the Endwalker update. I understand the issues that Squire Enix has and i normally wouldn't care but i don't think it is right for them to charge people a subscription fee at the moment to play a game that it seems impossible to access right now. That is not right.

Login queues are fine and accepatble........to a point, when they last for 4/5 + hours that's a different story, human's do require sleep/rest some even work most of the day and then there's family's and children

I completely support your desire to vote with your wallet. That said, I'm going to agree a little with with Breakbeat and some others here. This is an MMO. We can and should expect that they may not be available sometimes. That's a chance we take when we pre-order for Early Access to something. And it's only 2 day of a major expansion launch. I'm frustrated as well that I can't get online. But I've been playing MMOs for over 20 years and these things are par for the course.

I'm also a software engineer and I know what it's like when users are breathing down your neck because their product isn't accessible. So I have definitely been there and I know you can't plan for everything. If this goes on, then yes, let's express our anger and frustration. But we don't know what possible plans they have in the works yet and haven't given them a chance to implement them.

That`s true. Lets give them some time. How many, exactly ? Where is community managers? Last seen updates about problem status - yesterday.

Release in 2 days? Early access? Do you really, honestly think, that this problem can be solved in 2 days but can`t be solved in 2 weeks? Even 2 month - based on Live Letter, when Yoshida-san said "sorry, too many new players - we know about queues and we trying to solve it" ?
I think - not. This mass of players doesn`t go anywhere. And - as result - this problem will exists.
They (BU5, SE and Yoshida himself) - was warned about this problem - and for some reasons didn't do anything. Hoping for what?

Just because there have been worse releases does not justify or excuse this one NOT being better. Squeenix released the absolute biggest expansion for this game, and yet did not prepare for it? This is incompetence. Everyone who is having 4 hour queues just to be booted off when next turn and being forced log back in 6 times because of 2002 errors and then being put to the back of the line has 100% every right to be upset and complain.

When it finally did I was in queue for half an hour before it kicked me. Now I've seen it 13 more times and cant get back in.
