Your account wont get banned however it will get locked as they assume you're protesting a charge for a valid reason, like, "Hey I didn't pay for this, my account was hacked," and not "I want SE to do something impossible and let me into the game IMMEDIATELY"

It's not though. Read the ToS you said you agreed to.

Chargebacks incur a cost to the vendor.
They're a valid way to recoup money that shouldn't have been charged to your account but they're also commonly used for fraud.

SE isn't the only game company that will ban your account if you hit them with a chargeback.
Chargebacks are a last resort option when all other avenues have been exhausted. There is a lot of work on the bank and vendors side to process them.
Refunds and Chargebacks are handled very differently.
Unlike refunds, chargebacks come with additional fees for the merchant and increase a merchant's chargeback ratio. If a merchant's chargeback ratio exceeds certain thresholds, often around 1%, it can result in serious consequences, including fines, higher fees, higher reserve requirements, or even the termination of a merchant's account. A voluntary refund, however, is strictly a matter between the merchant and the customer.
If you want a refund, fine. Ask for a refund.
You can even refund Endwalker through Steam or the SE store, provided you haven't unlocked the Access Code. And if you've unlocked the Access Code, Then surely you're clever enough to have applied that code to your account, providing the access the OP so clearly craves.

But companies hate chargebacks with a passion and crack down hard on you if you use do it. Account termination or bans is fairly common practice.
