I don't hate the AST changes as much as I thought I would, and I think PLD came out pretty good as well. Looks like I'll be enjoying EW!

That Paladin combo...memories of getting Divine Retribution procs in WoW. Makes me want to install a DPS meter just to watch me sky rocket spamming that lvl 90 Confitier combo.

Potency buff or nerf doesn't mean much when you have the stat squish in mind. They are not necessarily stronger cuz potency is buffed or weaker cuz potency is nerfed. Healing/DPS may play relatively the same despite different in numbers between ShB and EW.

Pretty much, the only potencies that may get some gain are anything dealing with percentages, like Scholar Chain Stratagem is still 10%.

This is what I'm like with Reaper at the moment. Just not following it, not that I've spent ages trying to work it out. I know it'll all fit into place once I get to smacking a dummy.

Hmm, all I'm seeing for NIN are nerfs, and new abilities that can't be used when the boss is surrounded with bad stuff. (Raijus, paired, both with gap closers.)

For the millionth time, between stat squish and damage formula changes, potencies between before EW and after Ew cannot be compared. You will do the same relative damage before and after.

Hmm, all I'm seeing for NIN are potency reductions, and they still have the two raiju abilities with gap closers that must be executed in pairs. (What use is having two gap closers in a row, unless they only close the gap by 10 yards each?)

Potencies for every job have been reduced in order to have damage properly scale with the stat squish.
