I feel you brother. The only saving grace is the hope that healers get a rework mid-expansion(not happening) or that they FINALLY listen and change stuff for the better in 7.0(not happening because apparently pressing 21111111111 is too hard for the average healer.)

I'll be honest, EW is the expansion I have the least hype for. I cant stand either antangonist and then when the job trailer came out yoshida started by saying they were continuing shb style changes of homogenisation and destroying identities and playstyles instead of going back to HW or SB styles of being distinct and fun I wrote off many jobs being improved

Sage will either get its potency adjustments to stop it being a 1 note dps, or it wont and I will write off all the healers again (except for BLU) Depending on the msq, it might be my last msq.

If it does get made into a proper healer and not a Dosis spammer, I'll main sage since that thing is going to be the only fun healer.

In all likelihood WHM will remain the most popular healer simply because it is the easiest to learn*... I would expect SGE to outnumber SCH by a good margin though.

* Note: This does not mean I think WHM is the 'best' healer, design or other wise; but when the duty finder forces 1/4 of the party to be healers, the majority of people are going to pick the easy option.

Edit: Also, +1 to the OP, the second I got my healers to 80 (which was only the other day :/) I stopped playing them and have no intention of picking them up again any time soon... I will probably check out SGE in EW, but I don't have high hopes. Oh, and this has nothing to do with not liking healing; I practically mained WHM in HW and SCH in SB, and have been a Holy Priest (healer) in WoW Classic since week one.

Yeah.

I'm mostly looking forward to the story. The battle system doesn't really have me excited outside of Sage, which of course I'm looking forward to trying because it's new. But at the moment I'm set to raid on a DPS, though I'll probably level sage and then eventually the other healers just for fast roulette queues.

Huh? You mean weaving healing in between broil 2 spam. Rarely ever hard cast a heal and double weaving isnt necessary.
