Bad example? And nothing to support? Why is it apples and oranges? Crickets!

You made it clear it's impossible to explain anything to you. No matter how many people disagree and try to explain, you just keep coming up with absolutely ridiculous comparisons that make 0 sense.Honestly Setesh what do you offer to the discussion. The points that I have made are accurate and work towards providing a better game for everyone. All you provide is useless filler and uneducated banter! We have already shown your arguments make no sense and your just an embarrassment to yourself so quit while your ahead mate. I am starting to feel sorry for you honestly, because you are nothing more than a troll at this point. If you can offer something useful by all means if it helps make the game better, but if you just want to troll, go somewhere else.
So go ahead, compare this to shopping for a shampoo or something. ^-^
Just gitgud at placard extreme and lottery later at Endwalker, also wishing you all to get the house plot wherever the location is![]()
Yeah what can one say setesh, you are the man! Slow clap! Our hero everyone! He's here to make the game better for all of us, if it affects him! If not shut your face because you don't matter to him, and neither do your issues in game! He may make a good troll instructor though!

Oh so when you gaslight someone, and they react to you it's an issue, but when you attack them first over an issue they are having in game but you don't care about you claim no responsibility the way you act. Got it!
Just sticking my head in since I can't resist a housing thread.
I'll try to make this easy to digest:
- Housing is set up the way it is because the devs want it to be that way. End point.
- Island Sanctuary is a way to pacify those who want instanced housing since we won't have REAL instanced housing in this game.
- We won't have REAL instanced housing in this game because of how housing was originally put into the game, they basically didn't do a great job of it.
- To rip apart that system would be more trouble than its worth in terms of actual work needed to put into it + they would face backlash from those who already have housing in neighborhoods if whatever changes were made ended up screwing homeowners over.
- The lottery system is their answer to the SELF-MADE PROBLEM that people have with camping (and the funny thing is, it's literally camping without the camping with like 20x the amount of people you'd normally be against). Just putting that out there, YOU choose to camp for hours and hours and hours on end, no one is making you sit there and click a placard forever other than yourself. There are also plenty of resources available to show people how to avoid camping for hours and hours and hours on end (including discord servers that literally post the prime hour to begin camping a plot). I feel like a broken record with how much I say this in these type of threads.
- As far as the randomized timer goes (since I saw that get brought up earlier), that's implemented so people who have actual lives can still have a chance to camp a plot. For example, some people have jobs and can't be in game 24/7. Does this mean they should get screwed on a chance to get a plot? No. So the timer is there to give everyone a chance who wants one. I have no idea how it would be related to RMT considering that those who want to buy gil just go to the black market to buy their plots anyway....? But okay.
Thanks for coming to my TedTalk.
Woops, entered twice by accident, apologies!

I got the rmt reason from a Yoshie P thread. Only reference I had for bringing it up. Perhaps the housing district could be used only for Free company homes? Everyone can still have huge parties. While I agree that letting current home owners keep their homes in these districts is a must, perhaps as these players lose their homes with the 45 day waiting period when they leave the game, more FC homes would open up and everyone could have an instanced home they could bring friends to like FFXI. Everyone could have waterfront and 200 slots, no outrageous prices for homes. I would accept that as a reasonable solution, not to mention a way of removing the lottery system, 24hr timer and an easy addition for the developers.
At least we are looking for solutions that could work, not to mention expanding the market for crafters of housing items, seed sales, gardening etc! with what could a very easy fix that works for everyone. It's a positive thing for everyone, even those not directly affected by housing.
