If you have all DoH and DoL maxed out, and after an entire year you barely have 3M gil, you are not even trying.

Just by selling Zonureskin maps daily (5 minute farm per day at most) you could have way more than that.

I'm pretty bad at making gil but even without trying hard, I was able to get 15M in 3 months.

You can get more than 3M in one month just by crafting cookies for the cristarium levequest and by selling the zonureskin maps, it is braindead gil making. It can't get simpler than that for someone that has cooking and botanist at lvl 80.

If I really wanted 100M gil, I would be able to get that sum for sure in 1 year of playing.

Even if you didn't have any DoL and DoH you could get a lot of gil by running zonureskin maps with a party and farming bozja cluster to sell the 180 cluster mount for about 1~1.5M gil (IDK how the prices for that mount is today, but it was arount that when I was farming it).

Unless you expend more than you make, it is literally impossible to not make more than 3M gil in 3 months of *just* delivering 100 leaves of coffee biscuits. It gives you raw 1.6M gil every 16 days (assuming that you do all 100 leaves in less than 16 days). If you combine this with selling zonureskin maps daily (that is also guaranteed gil), which is at minimum 30K in the market board and normally around 50K on weekends, you will get the minimum amount of 10M gil in 3 months. Even if you decide to only go for cookie leaves you can get 8M guaranteed raw gil in 3 months.

There is no amount of gil farming that will make you money if you can't control yourself on buying glam/mounts/minions in the market board.

Edit: Just for clarification, I'm assuming that you would farm the mats for the [HQ] biscuits since you already have botanist at 80. It is tedious for sure, but it is guaranteed 1.6M gil every 16 days if you do all the 100 leaves you have
