I don't get why people are so adamantly against it. As if you'd get forced. Savage also got implemented and nobody gets forced to do that either. Same with Ocean Fishing, big job gauges, glam... Options are options because they are optional.

Ocean fishing lets people quickly level up their fishing gatherer and is pretty easy to access.

Savage fits anyone who's any kind of hard core in a game.

Glam is for anyone who wants to be fabu/is a collector, same for many other items.

A lot of people just don't see any point in having 'chat bubbles' and think it would be a waste of resources. I've played a few games where you could only talk in chat bubbles, and it was a HUGE eye sore in seeing who said what/keeping track of it and I personally don't think it'd be a good usage of their time to add (I actually think it's the worst kind of system to have players chat in any game)

It's kinda funny how people always say stuff like "more options are always good" except when it's a niche thing, then suddenly everyone screams waste of resources as if the game would go bankrupt if it were implemented. Literally no one would force you to do, have, or use anything, it's called an option for a reason
