I think the majority of FFXIV players, and nousagi alike want her to have a good time playing- nobody's going to mourn if the snipers get some bans for harassing her, and following her around preventing her from doing anything for her whole stream is pretty clear harassment.

Lucky us, SE's one of the only company's that'll actually take action against snipers.

I think Ina mentioned that she won't help them with any early level stuff due to her being a triple legend and wanting them to play the game as first timers
plus, if someone would set their stuff up it might mean less content :P

Doesn't really have to hold their hands to point out which UI elements to disable so they don't give their home server away right from the start, but eh...

If I were to guess though, in addition to the precautions recommended by Ina, Irys' viewership is a couple magnitudes smaller than Pekora's and being US/EN based the bans from Asmon's debut stream were still fresh in their minds I'd wager, hopefully Pekora's viewers have learled their lessons too.

That too. I think Pekora is the 2nd most popular female streamer in Japan. She apparently watched some of Asmon's debut stream to try getting an idea what to expect. However it seems like that wasn't enough to fully prepare her which most likely is due to her influence being a considerable amount larger than his coupled with having her server and character name come out right on the stream as she streamed the actual creation of her character with her viewers.
