Female Hrothgar as a playable race. Show your support!

Not dead on arrival for me. I have pretty much set plans to make my secondary a f Hrothgar. It's hard to conceptualize people liking things that you loathe, but it's just the reality of the thing. I detest dresses and frilly bows, and the I think more than half the auri girls I see look like Todders in Tiara rejects. That doesn't mean I think SE should stop making such glams because I think they're ugly as sin; some people clearly like them. That's good enough for me.

We went through this song and dance in the male Viera thread for years. They "should" be X/Y, because Y/X would be a waste of resources round and round and round. And here we are, a few weeks out of their release. Perhaps its because I recently sat through Yoshi dedicating what felt like was 3 hours talking about xiv's newest attempt at making pvp engaging makes me less inclined to worry about a beastly lady being a waste or not.

Oh God, now people want them to actually retain the hunchback posture? The race would literally be dead on arrival.

If there's anything I've picked up from this forum in regard to this topic, it's that ...
1- Hrothgals are far faaaaaar less wanted/ hyped than MV because everyone with no imagination assumes they would look 1:1 like the ugly Female Ronso models from FFX or just be Femroe with lion heads.
2- Most of the few people here who think that and STILL aggressively want them are either "ugly monster girl fans" (who want something super niche to snowflake on. People who like female Charr come to mind) or want them ugly only outta "fairness" to match the males because ... some crud meme on Twitter gave sexual dimorphism in games a bad name.

So this keeps going on and on ... people saying they should have 1 of the least liked features of the males is odd af but in line with the above. Like, IDK much about WoW, but I know Female orcs aren't hunched, and Orc male players were happy to get their spines realigned because even if you like the race it's just stupid looking.

I just accept what the game devs are telling us to expect personally. Makes sense to me that they look at the play rate of races and think "there's prob a lot of Miqote who would want to play something like a Mithra Viera combo female".
I can dig it, makes perfect sense why the race would have high sexual dimorphism when you look at their lore imo.

A beast-like appearance doesn't necessarily mean they are ugly. Hrothgar look like beasts, but they don't come off as ugly to me. Just animalistic. That's what the people in this thread are asking for from what I'm reading. They simply want something more animalistic, not ugly.

"Snowflake", bringing up twitter, yada yada yada. I've occasionally wondered what kind of angle you were coming at all this with, but now I finally know. What, do you think the people here in this thread only want a more animalistic appearance because of muh feminism and to get back at the patriarchy or something? Because that's totally what it sounds like when people keep bringing up twitter and whine about it. Really no better than the twitter warriors if I'm being honest. I mean really, does it not cross your mind at all that some people just want a more beast-like appearance for females because it's what they genuinely like?

This is a low tier to mediocre strawman filled to the brim with preposterous assumptions. As someone who actually plays a Charr in GW2, I genuinely just like the race's design. And you bringing up Twitter makes absolutely no sense other than to downplay the other side's opinion. Once again, you're building up a strawman so you present yourself as an individual with a superior mindset.

No DUH the Hrothgals are FAAAR Less Wanted compared to the Male Viera, do you just not understand what a Niche is?
This "Fairness" is that we want the Female Hrothgar to have Lion-like or Actual Feline Faces like the Male Hrothgar. Its really that simple.

No, it would make 0 Sense to make a Mithra Viera combo female, with a Beast Race. This is Hrothgar we are talking about, not some new Cross-Breed race.
What your choosing to accept isn't Confirmed. Cause like I said last time, if that is exactly how they are going to look...then why arn't they in the game yet? They did all that WAY before the Launch of Shadowbringers and before developing Male Viera. So if that Mural and that other image are how they are going to look...then why arnt they finished yet?

It's the over-all thiccness, the hunch, the tusks, the horn, the rigid gender role lore causing females to not be seen for a while, and honestly my brain can't not make comparisons to bojza/zadnor and drizzlewood coast. :P
Hrothgar are really just like boyband-cute charr in my eyes.
