    Another "what jobs would be good to add", another moment for Chaz to espouse his love for Mystic Knight. Did I mention I like Mystic Knight? 'Cause I do.

    I've been looking through what they've had in the past, and if you wanted to go fully into the past, a tank would be best, with their auto shell and having been a tank in the last MMO (Also I've had Bartz Solo enemies that were Otheewise too tough for the entire team with excessive useage of drain blade). But we have too many of those (sword wielding tanks, no opinion on tanks in general) so I'd rather a DPS. I envision it either with a whip sword cause that plus spell blade would make for some nice visuals, or the double ended sword that can split, so we can dual wield flare blade barrage as our limit break, but I'd be excited for anything.

Spends time in melee, switches to ranged for a bit, then goes back in. Thats kinda risky tho because the RDM displacement already gets them killed a lot. There might be a workaround there tho, not sure what exactly. Maybe like a reverse blink ability? But they'd have to design it to only let them fall back a safe distance, probably too hard to program that, but its a start. Rune Knight comes to mind, tho maybe something else.

    As for the MANY MANY comments about Beastmaster, Yoshi has already confirmed Beastmaster for a limited job. The recent interview with Yoshi and Mastuno also 'basically' confirms this. It will VERY likely be a 6.X feature. Or it may be a 7.0 feature, as i'm fairly certain that 7.0 will focus on the clouded area in the center between Garlemald and Bozja/Ala Mhigo.

    Thats my take/hopes.

    I like the idea of a "reverse" red mage. I do feel puppeteer could be that still, though. Using whip for melee, and then doing some ranged attacks with it as well as it withdraws, but using charges to send out mammets after the enemy. :P

    For the sake of job role and gear balance, I also agree that the next two jobs should be a DPS caster and something that uses scouting gear.

    I've been thinking a good job concept and candidate for scouting gear would be a FF15-style Armiger user (Noctis's variety of floating weapons and warping around). That is based on FF15-specific lore, but they could call it the Royal or something, since those power are derived from the Lucis royal bloodline. Their source of power could be a signet ring like what Noctis gets later in the game that granted the ability to use insta-kill banish type spells. And well, when Noctis was travelling around on his bro roadtrip, that was "scouting" in the conventional sense of the word, no? Those unique gimmicks aside, the job would fill the spot of a melee DPS traditional swordsman (not Eastern themed like samurai, and not tank-based like paladin) like what many have wanted over the years, and comparable mobility and tricks to ninja.

    Really hoping for Time Mage as caster DPS dot based. A bit like an affliction warlock in WoW basically.
    You'd have skill to haste DoT tick rate (more like consume duration because you can't haste tick rate, but just for the flavor of things)
    The special mechanic would be to set up echoes of yourself / your cast that would trigger later.
    Would be fun to have a skill that rewinds it's state 10s earlier
    We really need a non elemental caster. I love the rework of smn, but there's more than elemental magic

    I'd also like to see the geomancer as next tank. On the other hand, there's no "elemental tank" atm (you can argue about war throwing a rock every 20s).
    There are enough cool things you could do with rock water lava sand and whatnot both offensively and defensively for a tank

    I honestly think they should skip new jobs and reevaluate the roles and progression kits

    Due to the many expansions expanding the jobs some have some big growing pains (looking at you BRD and MNK) and others don’t evolve at all past a certain point (looking at you MCH) what I want is every job to be analyzed rather than even more being neglected (looking at you SCH/DRK) or having tacked on skills that don’t do anything for the kit (looking at you DNC) or just shallow “trait upgrades” or finishers (looking at you RDM, and most jobs in EW honestly) with EW I’ve noticed a trend of this which will get a lot worse if more jobs are added rather than improving what we have
