And this is the kind of attitidue that brings unwanted drama and discord into the game. I do not spend 6+ hours or spend countless gil on items such as timeworn maps trying to spawn an S rank for a single selfish person to snipe it before I inform my friends and the rest of the community that covers hundreds if not thousands of players that it's been spawned to join in the fight and all receive the benefit. ToS or no ToS, leeching off someone else's hard work is disgusting and disgraceful and morally unacceptable, but thank you for announcing yourself so we know who else to avoid adding to our faithful community.

They won't because generally people don't think about me at all. Can you imagine a whole Hunt Discord whining about That Darn Dead Pixel that keeps sniping hunts? Probably not. I'm more-or-less invisible to you lot, so it's your choice to get mad about my actions. I won't be thinking about you, though.

I will say from personal experience that yes, the hunt discords will recognize "problematic" individuals and start reacting accordingly to them regardless of them being affiliated with said discord or not if there is a distinct trend of them actively going after A/S ranks independently; though this often just provokes even more spiteful behavior from said individuals.

Of course, this could all be avoided by them just changing the hunts on a fundamental level that makes the behavior of either party have little bearing on how easily others can participate in the content.

Making the spawn windows of S ranks viewable at hunt scholars means it matters much less if some random player picks one off as you'll have a clear idea of when the next one might show up again.

Making the hunt live longer via some kind of buff-imposed damage cap would allow for fair participation even from players who aren't level 80 while reducing complaints from people not being able to make it to the hunts in time.
