I don't see any of the gear or animations as "girly". I think of them as elegant.
Tell your BF that only real men can make it work. Like Urianger. He looks badass while whirling around throwing pixie dust.
Meanwhile fur-covered Ardbert? *yawn*

Seeing that sacasimSome Jobs are not feminine enough. I need my fending gear to have spikes and large gaps to show off some midriff. Reaper AF is just the edda loli outfit now. Casting gear should look something Miley Cyrus wore to the VMAs they couldn't show on air. We should just remove men from the game.
And look at the blackblossom set being genderlocke
The reaper af should be consindered the DUMBASS Made the set genderlocked
I like masculine guys but with them genderlocking items there really should be extremely feminine items for each role, and with no choice which we get as its gendebased there should be feminine ars for each
Consider 4 tank sets are all masculine one should be feminine 50/60/70/80

Benison doesn't look like an AOE skill to me. Doesn't really suit a shield, but doesn't suit Assize either.
The spin makes sense for sort of "swirling out" this huge expanding bubble of AOE.

Some people are offended by masculine males, but they love a tomgirls.I also think some caster armour is too feminine and therefore lacks catering to all types of players. I see nothing wrong with people desiring more masculine options.
What I dont understand is, if people want their characters to look more masculine, people for some reason have an issue with the idea and are told to "get over it".
What's wrong with wanting more masculine-looking character gear? Yet, when someone suggests having the option for males to wear maid outfits everyone is literally praising and trying to prove how accepting they are.
Personally, as a guy who likes other guys I'd prefer Ardbert over Urianger every single day of the week.
It's perfectly possibly to be elegant yet masculine at the same time, though where FFXIV is concerned that balance is rarely struck. For that reason, I don't bother investing much time and effort into BRD, DNC or WHM beyond getting them to level cap.
*Blinks in seeing this post is about healers and not, you know, Dancers*

Roe males look really dapper in anything. Mi’qote males also look good in pretty much anything. I think male Viera’s will probably look good with their slender bodies. I think it’s honestly just that Hyur and Au’ra males look a little awkward in some healer and caster gear.
Oh forgoodness sake some sets are also very masculine. But no let's focus on just the feminine ones.
I don't care either way because I can just glamour over anything I don't like.
