Expand trusts to cover previous content!

While trusts are godawful slow compared to a party of players -- by design; even if you want to go fast, they stubbornly refuse to use AoE abilities -- I admit I still like to run every dungeon with the Trust once, because watching the character interactions that can happen there, whether between each other or between the characters and the environment, honestly helped to flesh the Scions out and make them feel more like, in terms of the narrative, they were really there at my side through this journey in ways they hadn't been in previous expansions. I have a lot of favorite moments/interactions I've seen with the Trust NPCs in various ShB dungeons. So I absolutely get where OP is coming from on that "connection to the party members" aspect.

(Mind you, I generally only do it the once unless I have some second combination of characters where I really want to see whether they'll interact with each other or the dungeon itself in interesting ways. Because as mentioned, wow are the Trusts slow.)

I'm not sure if that's mainly the stormblood stuff (as Squadrons can't go that far, and Trusts weren't added then) or what, but it sounds like something is in the works.

I remember either watching or reading an interview (I think it was one of the media tour ones, but I'm not sure) where Yoshi-P said that they'd adjusted the system for developing Trusts so that more of their developers could work on it. So perhaps we'll see more old content with Trusts this expansion, but it's not really set in stone. I'd also love to see them at least cover SB dungeons for the reasons you suggested.

No. It's a choice. If you CHOOSE. I repeat, CHOOSE to do trusts, you should have to queue directly for the duty before getting it in roulette.

I am so utterly amazed at the lack of comprehension here. Where are you getting that you should have to play with Trusts? You never have to play with trusts. Only that in your CHOOSING to play with Trust, you should have to play with other players before you can get bonuses. Jeez people, now you must be trolling.

I understand now. I think the issue was that I disagree with that opinion and lack the understanding of why someone would have it, so fundamentally, that I couldn't really comprehend why someone would have that opinion. That is how little sense it makes to me.

I guess overall I just dont understand the need. I have friends that I play with, even though they are mostly night people, and never actually considered using a trust for anything because, if even two of us are on, just need two people to join up. running the content on my own was never even a consideration.
