

Anyone that speaks of buying rare mats with gold, didn't actually spend enough to acquire mats that couldn't just be bought with gold.You mean like, how when I played GW2, the intrinsic value was to give ArenaNet real money so you could buy gold in game to buy rare mats that had SUPER artificially low drop rates because they could make money off gem sales that way?
I got 3 characters to max level and completed the world map TWICE. It had no more value than doing dungeons in XIV, or raids, or alliance raids, etc.
Once I finished a Zone, I never went back except for the big world mobs, which we have in the form of the "super boss" fates, and hunts.
