While I do agree that suddenly dropping wont decrease savage clear rates on the short term I think you're underestimating the newbies and people coming from other games, how many newbies wanting to raid will stick to a class that is 1 button spam? At least from my experience not many as its something the vast majority finds extremely boring, how many people coming from other games with already better rotations will stick to 1 button spam? I dont think that many will either as I've talked with several wow refugees and the nicest opinion regarding to ffxiv healer gameplay was "I'm not gonna touch that shit even with a stick (the role, not the game)" and yes, there are some that may come from games where healers mostly heal and may find appealing the vast amount of healing tools we have but with the low heal requirements of the game and how little interactions there are in the kit do you really think many of them will stick to the job?

I see them making the same mistakes that lead to 1.0 not listening to the playerbase and being out of touch of their game and its not good at all, healers right now are like the retirement pension some countries have, its sustained on the constant pumping of fresh blood into the system but what will happen when that fresh blood stops pumping (something that eventually will happen)? That's the point where I'll see those clears decreasing due to awful system they've created
