This is a game where you can play any job in a single characters. If a job doesn't suit your playstyle, you can choose to play a different job. Some people actually like the way WHM plays.

Do you have a source for this?
Surprisingly, every time I've used PF in the last month I've been waiting on DPS. I know anecdotal evidence isn't worth anything, so if you have access to some raw numbers that show the state of healers please link me up.
They could be basing this off of duty finder adventure in need status. We didn’t use to see this many roulette having healer in need back in the day. It was pretty much always tank in need with a rare healer or DPS in need.
What does the duty Finder have to do with high end content?
I mean, describe endgame. It can’t just be raiding we use if we’re trying to be more accurate on how many play healer.
Everything has to count since everyone has a different endgame. My endgame has always been relics. So places like Eureka and Bozja is also my endgame. For others, just simply having their characters geared for next expansion or patches is their endgame. For them, farming roulettes is apart of their endgame. They most likely don’t care about any form of raiding type of endgame. Then you got others where their endgame is housing, glam, FC events, etc. Case in point, endgame is too spread out for only PF to be your only way to think healers mains are everywhere.
Dailies that people do on a regular basis, would probably be a better way to look at this since a larger portion of players do roulette. And if people keep logging in and see healer in need status for half the roulette and on top of that struggle to find a replacement healer once their in there, it could be a strong sign of a lack of healers. Something that wasn’t much of a thing back then. As to whether or not someone wants to whip out a graph and do some math or not I’ll leave that to them lol.
It might depend on timing or data center but on crystal usually healers are the one filling in last, most of them bad.
Yeah, sometimes I feel like their ambassador xDAgree with everything you said. I feel the same way. This fight for more dps or damage going out to heal is just not something SE wants to do. So I’m over complaining about it. I’ve just adapted to it. Had to because I enjoy the healer role.
I love what I see about Sage and im gonna main it. It looks amazing. Those sound effects hehe.
Jokes aside, I think those who enjoy SCH will easily transition into SGE and enjoy it very much. I think people should really give this job a go, and see if it is something they can enjoy long term after the novelty wears off. I know I said I would put my SCH on strike, but I already know I'll cave and go back. It just can't be helped, and I hope they give it the attention it needs in the near future.
But when we think about it... I doubt Sage would have been what it is if people wouldn't have raise their concern about dps rotation and lack of damage (no matter what we can think about sage, for devs, that's their answer to that)Agree with everything you said. "Adventurer in Need : Tanks" is still the most dominant for roulette in my datacenter though.
