    If this were the case, what’s so bad about missing 10 to 15 seconds of a fight? Might miss a raid wide, maybe a single aoe marker. Unlikely to even see a tank buster by this point.
    Unless, they are longer than that and you are just down playing the length of cutscenes to add further scrutiny towards people who don’t wait? The latter sounds more likely

    The problem is that while the majority of cutscenes before the final boss are about 10 seconds, apparently it is toxic to pull early if a sprout is stuck watching one of the 5 minute ones in Totorak or Stone Vigil. Except it isn't. Period.

    Cutscenes shouldn't be holding people up for more than 10 seconds-not that long ago there were some people who freaked out when someone pulled the Compound early in Puppet's Bunker because a few people were watching the longer than usual cutscene. Problem is, that isn't even the final boss and the Compound barely has any mechs. The true final boss for both that and Tower have unskippable cutscenes that everyone has to watch each time they run the raid.

    Content like these dungeons and old raids (besides Tower) have been out for years now. Do not blame veteran players for the mistake of the devs of making unnecessarily long cutscenes in the middle of battle content.

    They are actually 10-15 seconds. Brayflox's boss intro is about 13s, iirc. (00:23 - 00:36 in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CQqjd2Rly3w )

    Personally, I honestly don't care if people pull during the dungeons with short cutscenes like that. At best, the cutscene watcher is missing a few autos and maybe an aoe marker as you said.

    But three dungeons in particular have very long boss cutscenes, Stone Vigil, Thousand Maws, and Aetherochemical IIRC. All three have cutscenes that actually give MSQ exposition, and all three are about 2.5-3mins long, which is enough time to actually make the cutscene watcher miss out on the entire fight, if not the majority of it. In those instances, people should 100% chill out and go grab a snack/drink or check their phone while the cutscene watcher enjoys their MSQ. Lest you know, enough complaints roll in about those dungeons that Square feels the need to give any dungeon that's not super quick cutscenes (or worse, every dungeon) the Praetorium treatment and you'll be forced to waste that 2-3 mins every time, even if no one's new.

    So there goes the cutscenes are short argument. 3 minutes can be a long time when you consider how much of a percentage of the run that is. I don’t care what you all do during cutscenes. But lets not pretend it’s people unwilling to wait for 15 seconds. Let’s definitely not pretend to be the ‘good guys’ when going as far as to punish people for not conforming. People need to get off their high horse and simmer way tf down. It’s still, in the end, just a game

    3 minutes = 20% of what would otherwise be a 15 minute run. I'm insta pulling that one.

    I'm just saying, if I am spam running content for gear upgrades, tomes, and/or relic items, and I can put down an Earthly Dominance 10 seconds after cutscene starts, wait for it to explode on it's own (20s) and still have that person not be out of cutscene, then no cutscenes are not "10-15 seconds".

    I don't care about waiting majority of the time. But if I am trying to farm content that has longer cutscenes, and there is ALWAYS someone new, then I'm going to get impatient. Also, I'd like to point out that 3/5 times there is someone watching cutscene in the content I run, they're not even new. It's not their first time running it.

Therefore your idea of fun is not more important than mine or anyone else's.

    If a sprout is watching cutscene, more power to them. They can watch it all they want. No one is screaming at them to skip it. But I'm going to hit the boss.

    I agree with you, SillyCrow. Being patient is always the better road, regardless of the illogic a lot of folks like to post on these forums.

    I'll always wait for folks if I see them lagging behind or watching a cutscene. I never mind waiting a bit if it means folks will be fully present and focused when we start a fight.

    So it's toxic to pull while people are in the cut scene because how dare they hold up a run for half a minute. But it's also toxic to not skip the cut scene because how dare a new player want to actually see what's happening.....and you have to wait half a minute.

    So basically, leveling roulette is toxic.

    Calling things toxic has lost all meaning in arguments like this, if it ever had meaning at all beyond "thing I don't like".
