YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES. Sorry for yelling but... yes. Everyone should have access to an AoE the moment the first dungeon unlocks imho!

If you can read this. consider yourself awesome!
So we keep melee on their high engaging 1-2-1-2-1-2 instead to promote intelligent gameplay? I don't get the logic.
I don't know if it has to be by the first dungeon, and I definitely don't think every job should get them at the same level (isn't too much job homogenization already a frequent enough complaint?), but I do think they need to balance it out better than it is. I was recently levelling Rogue to 30 on an alt for the summer event and it was painful that that they don't get any sort of AoE at all until after level 30.
AOE its fun, for every job, why remove it? where's the fun in that?
No brainer really, Melee should totally have Aoes earlier. I mean besides monk doesn’t all melee get their aoe after 30? And even DRG gets theirs like at 40 and it’s just one skill
This is not about mass pulling or about difficulty.
Even the lowest dungeon gives you groups of 3-4 enemies where it is advised to aoe rather than single target but instead you are stuck with ranged dps, tanks, casters with those tools while melee just stick on a single target using 1-2.
I’ve done low end content with 2 dancers with their aoes, still the same, you simply can’t W2W with the tanks early kit and how ARR are traditionally laid it to prevent W2W. Without a talented tank and a talented healer it’s not possible in Sastsha and Deepcroft. Even the higher ones like Manor and Stone vigil will eat you alive. It’s not the dungeon it’s the kits! I hate how trivial dungeons are but your Argument falls flat due to all the ranged having early Aoes, and DNC having a atomic nuke in Standard Finish.
It doesn't take talent to hold enmity on multiple enemies. It just takes a thought process that can handle more than mashing 1-2 buttons mindlessly and DPS that understand they should have their primary target be the same enemy the tank is currently targeting. I've been there and done that on every duty you've mentioned. It's not hard at all. It only requires common sense. The only reason common sense is becoming less common is because people keep pushing for more things to contribute to the decline of brain activity in the masses. A problematic activity that also applies to nearly everything outside the game as well. And all the people making excuses for it are nothing but enablers of the actual issue causing it to become worse.I’ve done low end content with 2 dancers with their aoes, still the same, you simply can’t W2W with the tanks early kit and how ARR are traditionally laid it to prevent W2W. As for the whole thing about AoE being better at those lower levels when enemies come in groups of 3-4. If you DPS are targeting things they way they should be 4 becomes 3 in a couple seconds, then 2, then 1, then dead. Things aren't HP sponges in those lower duties. I've also mass pulled these early duties and it generally results in it taking longer to kill things between the travel time and lack of actual damage from the AoE's that are available. Knocking everything off as you go ends out more time efficient in all but a few specific areas.
Why?
First off, how many times are you hitting level 16 for this to be an issue?
Second, those dungeons are easy as it is...why does it need to be easier? You do realize they are tuned to not need AOE right?
