I'm one of those who believe that FFXIV should be a game of its own and not a copy, not even be similar, to another game.

I have some bad news for you. FF14 is very similar to WoW Cataclysm/MoP. It is almost a carbon copy of it. Yes, later Square Enix improved a lot but it has still many characteristics which are an one-to-one-copy from WoW.

That is a reason why i do not understand why a loud crowd of FF14 players hate WoW so much. They literally play it respectively a earlier version of it where meny things already went downhill.

Sorry but that's not bad news to me. FFXIV is indeed very similar to WoW since the director himself said it was the inspiration and it was based on it. It's a known fact and it's not news anymore. I don't hate WoW. You assumed very much incorrectly, I didn't say any such thing.

What I said in my comment is the games have to be separate and people who wanted to play this game exactly as another game was should just play that other game so you can at least continue supporting the said game. Big difference.

For me also, things in FFXIV went uphill after the game started, which is in line to the wish I mentioned from my reply that the game be of its own.
