He’s basically a gamer who has a impressive amount of fans on YouTube, he is so ecifically known for playing WoW.

A lot of people seem to have this unspoken perception that MMO’s were invented because of him and he should be the voice of all the gaming community. - that was just a dig at a certain type of his fans.

He is also the reason for the massive influx of players joining XIV.

I'm glad for once that you admitted that you have bad reasoning skills. But even then, you still failed to understand what I said. So let me make it really simple for you. Anyone claiming anything, doesn't necessarily make it true. Asmongold saying he's not special, doesn't mean he's not. You saying you're not jealous doesn't mean you're not. Now the problem with you is that you like to say "he/I said X, therefore X is true". But when I say I'm not a troll, you switch gears and dismiss that statement. So this tells me you like to cherry pick what you like when it suits you.

Because people are developing a weird hatred of streamers in the gaming community and MPK is just playing off it. It's a nice bait post because they knew exactly which button (streamer) to press to get an irrational swelling of emotion out of people

I'm one of those who believe that FFXIV should be a game of its own and not a copy, not even be similar, to another game.

If you miss the other game that much then shouldn't you playing the said game? Give that game the support it needs.

If what the other replies indicate is true that the OP has been trolling, then what a troll LEGEND he or she truly is.
