That's why when I chose a lore-friendly name for my Roe, I managed to came up with something that have both a nice meaning as well as easier pronunciation.
It might be limiting for some people, but at least there won't be incidents like OP.

Same for me – I wanted my Roegadyn alt to have a name that wasn't hard to make sense of at a glance, and there are plenty of options for that route.
You can also opt for an epithet-surname in English instead of Roegadyn – within the game you can see characters in battle with surnames like Saltwind or Evencalm.
I think OP was talking about their Roegadyn there, but now that you mention Miqo'te, those are names that need regular explaining even if they don't get mistaken for bot names. So many people want to nickname my Seeker guy "Tia", and if you get past that stage then they probably fuse the tribe letter onto the first syllable of the name.
I'm certainly not changing any of my characters because of it. Just keep explaining weird naming conventions to one party at a time.
