As long as they don't punish you for failing.
Something WoW loves to do. Failed mythic, key downgraded prohibiting you from trying again and practising getting better without screwing yourself or someone else over. Mage tower and horrific visions also had front loaded costs...
While I'd like to see the keystones removed altogether (if a dungeon is less fun than others, I'm not about to praise its being made more relevant or forgive its poor balance only from players unfortunately rolling that dungeon for a keystone), I see no problem with players getting only the ilvl rewards of a lower difficulty level if they can't meet the timer.
Otherwise, we'd just be compelling people towards bashing their heads against difficulties that are no longer anywhere near the intended experience.
Make the timer more lenient, effectively, by respawning us just outside the boss room after wipes to said boss and having checkpoints midway between bosses for hard trash, sure, but I honestly think the experience is far more player-friendly with those timers than without.

IMO I think as long as the conveyer belt of new players keeps coming and a large percentage of free trial players convert to subs, then a mythic+ style of content won’t happen.
Also I think it would require a lot of extra coding work to introduce something like affixes and scaling into the current design sadly.
Sure hope he's intelligent enough to not suggest FFXIV to become like Wow.
He can tell ya'll how crap WoWs systems are, and they dont belong in this game. Let FFXIV be its own thing, and lets stop trying to hiJack it and turn it into the same failure ya'll left.
Remember why ya'll are here and not playing WoW.
outrage bait aside i do genuinly miss hard mode dungeons
I totally agree that it would be nice to have more complicated dungeons in order to have a real daily challenge. On the other hand, MM+ like wow, no thanks...
They have as much good side as bad side, most of them going against square's vision for the game.
The dungeons must be accessible to everyone and with any class.
