The easy answer for why we don't have harder dungeons/mandatory content is because people complained when they did make them harder. So, now we don't and it's all optional. Pharos Sirius is an example of one that people said was too hard.I’m not sure why we can’t have harder content in 14 as well as casual content - people aren’t forced to do the harder content, and it’s a nice option to have for the more hardcore players and it gives them an incentive to stay subbed.
Half the problem with savage is that they become harder to clear in PF over time because the good players get BIS after a couple of months and quit, which causes the tier to die early and new players who want to learn savage have a worse time getting through them and get put off, because there isn’t a pool of good players around to teach them and ease their experience through them
So many new people, so many taken baits :x
The funny thing is that whenever he's talking about WoW he's basically just criticizing it or Blizzard did something stupid again.
So why the hell would he ask for and want FFXIV to be like WoW?
Either way not inviting him would've been incredibly stupid, it's so much free marketing.
If reactions to the game like he and Rich have had ain't '' being a true fan '' then I dunno what that even entails.
Same with Streamers like Pyromancer he basically has orgasms live on Stream from the lore and the game, it's pretty clear when someone really loves the game and when someone doesn't.
I mean just having played the game a long time doesn't make you a '' true fan ''.
I grew up playing Blizzard games, and I played WoW since Vanilla.
But I am definitely not a Blizzard fan anymore quite the opposite I feel a lot of antagonism towards them and they're one of my least liked developers in the industry at this point.
But there's a lot of people who started playing WoW in Shadowlands or BFA and are in love with the game and huge fanboys/girls.
Having the possibility to have dungeons with an intermediate difficulty, both accessible and interesting to do while not being mandatory.
People have evolved a lot and opinions change, what was hard at one time has become easy now.
And we hear one's more why it can't be.
As much as I want more harder content like dungeons I know why yoshi don't want to do it.
i literally do not understand the appeal of asmongold at all
in some of his videos he is just listening to other peoples videos
what has society become, we watch videos of streamers watching other peoples videos and react to videos within videos
While MPK is a troll - and one in poor taste right now, considering all the crap Asmon's dealing with in his real life - I do agree I'd like to see more challenging 4-man content.
Dungeons are incredibly boring and melt right now at endgame, which just means most of us want them over with as quickly as possible. Some optional, challenging side-content dungeons would be incredibly welcome for people who don't have the time to dedicate for Savage every week, but still want to do difficult and engaging content with a couple friends (that isn't PotD or HoH).
That said, not surprised to see the idiocy of "lol go back to WoW" being spouted here as per usual. You types sure love to speak about this "great and welcoming community" up until people suggest anything that even remotely doesn't fit into your personal definition of it, at which point you aggressively put down and insult people based on a prior MMO they may or may not have even played.
Go outside. Touch some grass.
Sure make harder dungeons everyone here just wants a challenge right? I mean rewards don't matter they want it for the challenge so make them for these folks but only give out rewards you would get for doing regular dungeons because all of these people just want a challenge rewards are trivial.

Enjoy Life you only get one.
Nothing would make me quit the game faster than timed content like Mythic+. It is a system that breeds toxicity and negativity with its very nature. Keep that garbage out of this beautiful game.
