Of course no one was doing it before the cut scenes were skippable, it was the most under used DF roulette.... you do realize that literally proves my point, yes? Without the buffed rewards people wouldn't touch MSQ, thus said rewards are compensation for your time. Therefore, if you could skip all the cut scenes, you no longer need an incentive.
If you meant no one was doing it before, when cut scenes were skippable. That's just flat wrong.
But this community just hates Vets getting nice things.
Also the people complaining now about non skippable CS in these duties are the ones with that "I want all the stuff without doing the work" mentality. They only want the roulette rewards however they do not want to actually do what is required to get said rewards.

I never said the ones complaining are new players, I said this community always try to fuck Vets in general.
Read this thread from posters, its a rather specific demographic of people, this playerbase really hates Vets that do well in the game in PVE.

That is simply a lie. Either that or you have no clue whatsoever about what you speak.

Yoshida has literally said the present buffed rewards are compensation for players watching a marathon of cut scenes they've already seen. The whole reason MSQ Roulette rewards such a staggering amount is due to the sheer length. If people had the option to skip them if there weren't new players, they'll absolutely start kicking them or setting up PFs that refuse to take new players. Both of which defeats the very purpose of those added incentives.

Every change to these two instances has been for the benefit of new players:
-The buff in XP was to compensate for time used
-The purpose of enticing vets to do this is to give new players a low queue time.
-The inability to skip cutscenes is a direct result of players not waiting for new players.
Also, vet from 2.0 launch and I fully support this change. For me, this is a "nice thing". How is chillaxing in a 30-45 minute instance watching youtube because it's insanely easy and getting a fat reward at the end NOT a nice thing?
