We did? I just powered through that quest and didn't use it.
Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]
It's actually the level 80 quest. You need to repose the sin eater so Giott can put the helmet on it so it didn't get healed. I feel like you had to do it for the first one, but maybe not for subsequent ones, but I'm not 100% on that. Don't remember it other than that.
"Then what is magic for?" Prince Lir demanded wildly. "What use is wizardry if it cannot save a unicorn?"
Schmendrick did not turn his head. With a touch of sad mockery in his voice, he said, "That's what heroes are for."

Then I really can’t remember it either. But a lot shadowbringer role quest were meh

My expectations are below the bottom of the barrel, I can't stress it enough, if there was a secret compartment even further down in the barrel my expectations would be lower than that.
SE has showed that they have no clue what they're doing with healers, pulling stunts like gutting AST's cards, trying to removing Energy Drain after SCH was already brutally murdered, and of course, as everyone has said, lack of things to do in downtime. I could go on and on and ON, but we've all heard it all before. Healers are dead.
I'm fully prepared to be disappointed, and I will not be buying EW if they F up, and I probably won't buy FF16, either.

Not prepared to quit because I find other jobs enjoyable, but I don't have any expectations either except that sage will be either vastly superior to the other healers or vastly undertuned. My expectations are below the bottom of the barrel, I can't stress it enough, if there was a secret compartment even further down in the barrel my expectations would be lower than that.

Heck it might end up actually being enjoyable to play while the other 3 healers play like crap
Watching forum drama be like

well from what we know so far of sage, its got the standard 1 nuke, 1 heal, 1 adloquim clone and either 1 dot or 2 aoes. Dataminer posted on reddit when benchmark came out leaked sage's aoe being an equivalent to the ground slap aoe.
We don't know yet if one of the moves shown in the trailer (the cross that leaves fire and clearly overreaches the mob) is an aoe or a dot yet
while I do need to put the disclaimer that it is just the benchmark. I really don't have high hopes given SE is once again, giving everyone aoes or single target versions of moves we already have which annoys me as that's lazy game design. We don't need single target versions of moves like flood of shadow or hissatu guren, but that's what we got in shb and the fact we are getting more of the same in the benchmark does not fill me with any confidence.

Oh boy, I sure can't wait to have more skills I'll never use outside of dungeon trash pulls! That's the best part of dungeons!I really don't have high hopes given SE is once again, giving everyone aoes or single target versions of moves we already have which annoys me as that's lazy game design.
