If you are talking with a minor they will most probably lie about their age because they know that you might stop talking with them if they say that they are minors. If someone is around ERPs they probably know what they are getting themselves involved with.

This is exactly what I did back in FFXI and Guild Wars, from around age 13.
And how the heck did a thread about NSFW modding and ERP turn into an argument about the age of consent anywa--
