what sci-fi elements are not made by magic in ff?Final Fantasy is not High Fantasy though. It never/has never really meant to be. Even the most “High Fantasy” of FF titles includes sci-fi elements. Heck, the very first FF title had the Flying Fortress, revealed to be a space station built by a “technologically advanced race”. This was retconned in later editions to be more Castle in the Sky, but the original NES had us in the stars.

A few points:
1) I'm not sure what the point of your question is. Everyone here has been telling you that FF is fantasy with sci-fi elements. No one is arguing it's pure Sci-Fi.
2) Since you asked,
Final Fantasy is not High Fantasy though. It never/has never really meant to be. Even the most “High Fantasy” of FF titles includes sci-fi elements. Heck, the very first FF title had the Flying Fortress, revealed to be a space station built by a “technologically advanced race”. This was retconned in later editions to be more Castle in the Sky, but the original NES had us in the stars.3) You seem to be confused as to what Fantasy even means. As others have said, what you're trying to describe with wizards/pure magic is "High Fantasy". It does not encompass all fantasy: Harry Potter is an example of a fantasy in a modern setting.
4) A well known quote by Arthur C. Clark "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic." Many Sci-Fi stories have weird elements that are essentially "magic". The Spice from Dune and how it works is, essentially, magical. The mineral Unobtainium from the Avatar movie similarly defies science as we know it.
It’s not on me to explain stuff to someone who doesn’t want to see it. You want to the game to be something it isn’t- a High Fantasy. As others have pointed out repeatedly, it’s not a high fantasy. Fantasy has a broad meaning- even the Marvel Avengers series can be seen as fantasy.
There is nothing else to really say on it.
