That video was pretty spot-on. Always liked his work.

I don't know why, but I guess I'm one of the few ( If others exist ) ex WoW players who didn't skip any early quests, didn't complain about the texts, and read all the tutorial tips and pop-ups at a slow pace. It feels weird...
Same here. I am an ex WoW player and I read every quest text without any exception. But in the video there is a lot of truth especially the movement tutorial thing and the invisible walls.

Look up the "Cosby Suite" and ask yourself if you still feel bad for the developers.
And that's one example of how disgusting Blizzard has been.
"Stand in the ashes of a trillion dead souls and ask the ghosts if honor matters."
"The silence is your answer."
To be fair that was mostly the development leadership amongst a circle of closely guarded friends. But that doesn't excuse any of it. It was disgusting behavior on their part regardless of their job positions. The simple fact that they protected each other for so long is why Blizzard is in the situation that they're in. I'm not one to blame the entire dev team for it, however. There's plenty of people, innocent people, being caught in the crossfire at the moment just because of who some of their supervisors or fellow co-workers are. Guilt by association, more or less. It's easier to blame the collective whole than individuals. There are a LOT of individuals to blame though, there's no mistaking that. And I'm sure even now that investigators have only just begun to scratch the surface of this debacle.
The "Cosby Suite" was a tiny fraction of the developers working for Blizzard. Blizzard has hundreds of developers. I would not blame them all.

Eh...they all knew what was going on in the company.
Well, if you leave all past scandals aside, you have to choose between:
- Play the game with the personal relationship where you spent years and effort into it, but watching how it gets worse with each expansion and any patch makes your effort worthless. Yes PvP is great, but the community is toxic as hell. And the devs responds like: f*** u, pay us!
Or.
- Play the weeb game which is similiar to the game you loved but it gets better and better with each expansion and provide tons of content each 3-4 months. PvP is mindless, but at least the community is friendly and helpful (except mentors). And the devs work pretty hard over the years.
