If I'm optimistic I hope them to acknowledge that healers need more support/dps actions instead of just heal spam skills and deliver a bit on that, not much but a few dots here and there and maybe some other buff.

If I'm realistic tho, I'd be surprised if they talk about healers at all and stop treating us like 2nd class players, don't expect the jobs to become worse (its hard to do healers worse than shb) but not much better either.

one other expectation i forgot: no mention of increasing general difficulty or incoming damage/frequency or increase of attacks designed to ignore ilvl eg hp% attacks

Head's blank because there's no point festering and speculating on this. Irregardless of what is said and done I'm going to be the token SCH come endwalker launch, I have always leveled that class first every expansion, and Sage isn't going to change that. Is there a possibility I'll switch to Sage AFTER the fact? Sure, I won't discount the possibility, but considering it was still my favorite healer to play in ShB I doubt there's anything SE could do to truly make me hate it.

Which is probably what all of us Veteran Healers will do.

The reason why we want them to fix the role is because we don't WANT to leave, because it will destroy the skill ceiling for Healers. I.e a ton of new healers who have no clue what they are doing making things infinitely harder on the rest of the game.

But, if they don't, we are all just going to go dps and finally cast off the role we've been waiting for 4 years to fix.

It's funny and a bit sad reading how the healer community is so bitter, with very good reason. So little positivity in this thread. I guess everyone sets their expectations very low so as to avoid disappointment. I know that if the gameplay stays the same I'll be off in a soon to be released game with a pretty fun healer gameplay.

It’s just getting tedious when you even tell them exactly what they can and can’t do and they give zero fluff and do it anyway only too not change anything mid expansion for healer and then on the other hand you see nin getting a full rework and a good one at the same time. Like at some point you just think it’s some kind of bad joke that they say they are in touch with the community and just fail to make healer decent since years. Also they ignore information at heal when it comes too healer skipping slides and talking about nonsense rather they have the balls and say “yes we know healer are bad BUT we gonna do that and that” you actually feels like a 3 grade person just being there for the dps too have fun.
