Nah, most people are on a mental level in which they prefere to cry on the forums like school girls with skent knees to the other option of easy money. Literally easy gil.
So yeah, the OP was obviously farming grade 3 when he wrote this
kjust moved onto grade 4 and 5s to check some numbers, and you get so much less alumen and other stuff
humblehearth for example
in 150 swings, i got 140 silver, 40 mythril, 30 alumen, and 20 gems
id say the ratio is more then fine and people need to just level and get to the next grade where the drops are better

Right... I went from fresh to gathering fatigue 4 times in a row (With 48 hours in between each attempt to make sure I reset fatigue) at the exact same place (Halatali) with the exact same gear (L48 tool, Raptor leather gathering set, upgraded for Mind and VIT, Vit Rings and grand company gathering ring) always at the sweet spot for electrum (+4) and ironically enough... The number of Electrum ore I had when I got to fatigue was within 3 of each other all 4 timesSo yeah, the OP was obviously farming grade 3 when he wrote this

Roughly 370 electrum or out of 700 or so attempts...
Which means I get Electrum more than everything else combined... consistently
If you're underleveled, undergeared or at a lower grade then you should be getting less of the good stuff or else there would be no reason to level, buy gear and go to grade 5
I agree, the amount of alumen you get is retarded high.
