It's a pity that the expansion of our inventory is an open incentive to pay for more retainers.

If you are not a crafter everything is fine, if you are, it is a real problem. And so is keeping some favorite skin stuff.

Another point, it's a pity that you can't put the paid outfits in the chest, it still takes up space in the too small inventory.

Only some outfits and event rewards can be placed in the chest which is perfectly ridiculous especially since event rewards are getting worse and worse.

So, this chest is almost useless.

This would be the best and most realistic thing they could do, after expanding currencies to things like EX totems and Alliance Raid coins. Allow the storage of more items in the Armoire, including later artefact gear, and cash shop items.

As it stands, each separate inventory is a separate database that needs to be loaded, which is why we have different inventories that can be accessed in different circumstances. e.g. chocobo saddlebag can't be opened everywhere your inventory can, and the armoire is even more restricted. Lovely spaghetti code.

But the Armoire is so restricted (only inn rooms and housing) that expanding it shouldn't impact too much of the game, only inn rooms and housing.
But it would affect inn rooms and housing, the latter being a location that every single inventory can be accessed, which could potentially be the issue. I know when I was playing on PS4, that simply being in the inn room would cause my PS4 to attempt an orbital launch. I don't know the specifics of why XIV's code is so bad that this is an issue, and it could be glamour dresser specific which would explain why it was the inn room that my PS4 hated (and why we don't have a glamour dresser housing item yet), but that could potentially be why the Armoire has a hard cap.
