And? What exactly would any of this accomplish? QoL for the mods (wherever they are)? What exactly is the purpose in autolocking a thread that is one month old? Do you mean autolocking if there hasn't been a reply in a month? Either way, it would accomplish near nothing, in my opinion, as threads would just be either recreated over and over again (as many are already), or encourage more bumping on potentially controversial topics (which also already happens constantly).

Alright Mr. Social Justice Warrior, calm down. I know this is a bad bait thread, but I'm just going to set the score. Here's a breakdown for you so you understand:


People ask why people are AFK all the damn time. I've done it with my static, and most of the time it's because they've either planned something for a time or wanted to get in touch with them. Majority of the answers lie in communication, so the first bullet is a non-sequitur.

- Demanding someone to do their entire rotation isn't being unhelpful or toxic. Pulling out the "button bloat" sign doesn't do anything about it, and is another non-sequitur, along with trying to point to preexisting conditions - which people would more than likely be considerate about in this day and age. However, you need to look at the setting and ask the question: "Are they in Savage or Ultimate?" I'm sure you can take it from there, Mr. SJW because the answer is simple.

- Why someone could not dodge AoEs...is an issue? Seriously? And we're bringing in the colorblind filter too? A non-sequitur - but I'll make a note for people reading this: People learn at different speeds. If you're raiding, take the time to work with them and don't get impatient.

- Now, as for skipping cutscenes, I'll be real: you can't skip the cutscene for them. They have to choose to for their own reason. If you're pressuring someone to, that person needs to lay off. But if we're now talking about literacy and fighting about reactions? The person who views them processes these through their own perception - and do note that yes, some of these cutscenes are meant to evoke a certain emotion at times where justified. While this is not a non-sequitur, your argument is rather lackluster by trying to relate this without evidence, Mr. SJW.



Consider researching a bit harder before you even bother trying to come up with this crappy argument. It's full of holes and non-sequiturs that don't connect to Ableism or Elitism - and do not take in the full scope of FFXIV's community as a whole. If you're going to construct a social argument about this topic, perhaps you should go look at the various Data Centers and learn a bit - or do Savage yourself.

FF9 is the easiest FF and even that one demands more of the player than the non high-end pve expects in XIV. None of the other FF games are comparable... Except maybe Easy mode VII-Remake.
