Let's be fair... it didn't take weeks to get your AF in FFXI, and I doubt it will in this game either.

I would love some good challenges in this game, but I'm not sure I'm really confident in SE making challenging quests for this game yet. Bosses they seem to be doing a decent job of, though, but this game is constantly shifting and it's very hard for them to balance for... I assume they rather make things easier initially rather than potentially impossible. Ifrit for example has shifted with the updates after his release, and 1.21 I think will see a large increase in overall difficulty to fights since casting while moving is being stripped. No more kite-healing or kite-raising or... any of that.
