- Talk to NPC at Guild Hall for a quest
- Talk to NPC at other Guild Hall to continue quest
- Talk to NPC half way around Eorzea
- Talk to NPC other half way around Eorzea
- Fight NM with party of 8x50s to get token item that lets you into a new dungeon
- Fight NM with party of 8x50s to get a chance for a key to a coffer
- Open Coffer with key for a chance to get a random piece of JSE for a random job
There will be 5 pices of JSE per job. There will be 7 jobs with JSE. Therefore we will be aiming for 35/35 on JSE.

I hope it varies, but that the main peices require a solo fight that is very difficult/hard to get to. Parties let people leech thier weapons in things like ifrit and moogle. I want AF to be a sign of skill. You can play the job in full AF if you know the job well enough to beat a difficult boss on your own. Not floor surf through a party and get lucky. Sorry if I sound like a hater but I really want to stand out in AF.
As this is content directly portable to 2.0,
i would expect a degree of fullness to the content.

It would be great if the fights for AF would have some cool NPCs or mobs but they said they only adding 2 new mobs as instance bosses. If we gotta fight lvl 60 goats or dodoes I'm gonna be pissed.
My feeling on this is the jobs are unlockable by level 30 classes, so those of us with a class at 50 will have an easy time of it, but the AF stuff will be for level 50 jobs, to get it you will need one or both prerequisite classes at 50, unlocked most or all of the jobs skills and then put some effort into the quest line.
My personal hope is the AF gear is got via a bunch of (difficult) solo fights. I understand the hopes of those wanting group fights for this stuff but it is my AF gear, so it should be me who gets it.
Well we've got less than a month til the patch, they've probably already decided on how we'll get AF.
I almost expect it to be like Dynamis like system considering they're releasing two strongholds. Maybe even like limbus where you raid a zone for the ingredients to create your AF (If they made the U/U gear from darkhold and the strongholds ingredients then they'd actually have a purpose...)
A hard solo fight like maat isn't a bad idea but there should be some variety to it. I don't want all 5 pieces for each job to be like solo, that's boring.
I too hope the AF takes some battles to get - and difficult ones at it or at least some thought put behind it. I also hope that you can materia the AF for the sake of if you blow it up, you will have to go and get it again. This would add to the longevity of it all.
To be honest I am more interested in the AF then the dungeons. Theres lots of it to get and if they do it right it will keep people busy for awhile to come. Dungeons and primals get beat in a handful of days by the mass populace. If the AF has some fun and challenging aspects to it - all us peoples` with all 50s battle jobs - will have lots to do in the mean time regardless.
One can only hope.
I hope you have to Parley with a tree to get your AFs.
